[Accidental Voice/Action] A New Arrival

[Hiro, upon waking up on the outskirts of Luceti's town, sits up with a start, accidentally smacking the record button on his (open) journal. The following can be heard...]

What happened? Where's Daichi? ...Where's my shirt and my jacket- oh, here they are! Why are there holes in the back? ...My back! There's THINGS on them! Oh my god- OW! They don't come off! Wait, my shirt fits over the things- hey, they're thing-holes! Huh... hey, I can move the things! They're like... wings! And the thing-holes are wing-holes! WAIT, this means I have wings! But how? Wait, where's my cell phone? Crap! I can't defend myself against demons without my cell phone... Gotta find my cell phooooone! ...Hey, wait, what's this?

[Some fumbling sounds are heard, and the recording abruptly ends.]

Um... hi there! Yeah, my cell phone has the demon summoning app on it and all of my skills. I can't defend myself without it. If you see a blue cellphone with a top screen that goes horizontal, can you tell me where it is? Not that I'd know how to get there, but some landmarks would help.

O-oh, um... I'm talking through the book. It's... kind of like a phone, I guess. [A really, really big one.] You could probably find your phone in one of the stores, once you get to the village. Is there anything around you that stands out?

Oh, I see... in the stores, huh? I'll have to look for them... man, how am I going to buy my cell phone back? I think all my money was taken... [A lengthy pause.] Nope, there's nothing that really stands out around here, but I do see a town in the distance. Or at least it looks like a town, anyway.

...By the way, who are you?

You can see the village? [That's definitely a good sign!] Just head straight for it. It's the only one here, so you'd be going the right way. And you don't have to worry about buying your phone back, either. We don't even use money here.

[He stops, almost forgetting that the other boy had asked for his name, so he quickly adds—]

Oh, my name's Shinji. Shinji Ikari. It's nice to meet you.

Alright, I'll do that! Wait, what do you mean we don't use money here...? Am I supposed to just take my phone back and hope no one else gets to it first? I'd better hurry then!

Shinji, huh? My name's Hiro! Hopefully we'll meet someday, huh?

We might. [He seemed like a pretty nice guy now that he was getting the hang of things.] Um... If you ever need help, I could show you around sometime.

That'd be nice! It's been good meeting you, Shinji. Where do you go in town most often? Maybe I'll bump into you there, if I can find it.

Well, I don't really go anywhere special. I just like to walk around a lot.

Hmm, so maybe we'll bump into each other around town... can this thing send pictures? Maybe you could send me a picture of you so I know who to look out for.

O-oh, well, I'll recognize you if I see you. [He's just too shy to take a picture of himself with his journal like that...!] What color are your wings? That might help.

My wings are... um, lemme check... Ah! They're white, but they have blue at the tips. What color are yours?

Mine are just white. I've never seen any like yours before. [So he would definitely remember them!] ...I've seen a pair of rainbow ones, though.

Just white, huh? Anything else stand out about you? [He chuckles.] Sorry, that was kind of a silly question.

I-it's okay. There are a lot of people here, but I'm sure it won't be hard to recognize each other.

Well, at the very least, if I hear your voice, I'll look for you, huh? We at least have that!

Yeah, there's that.

Are you getting close to the village, Hiro?

I'm just about there. I'm meeting with someone who's going to show me around.

Oh, good. I know it's a little weird here at first, but... I'm sure you'll get used to it.

[Then again, this guy talked about fighting demons with his phone, so maybe he wouldn't think it was that weird here at all? Who knows.]
